. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from Prague University (in Czech Republic). . He obtained a Special Prize thanks to his good results during his Studies. . He began his assisted reproduction Program in Brno, where he managed to achieve the first baby born by classic IVF in 1982 in Czech Republic. . He travelled to France and began to work at INSERM to elaborate a research program about reproduction. There, he developed important laboratory techniques and found out interesting ways of working inside this area. . After that, he worked in the Reproduction Unit at the American Hospital in Paris, and he managed to achieve the first baby born by ICSI in 1993 in France. . In 1994 he managed to achieve the first baby in the world born by Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection, in human egg. . In 1996, in Istanbul (Turkey) two babies were born by Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection, taken from testicular biopsy culture of performed to men suffering from azoospermia. . In 1997 in Sao Paulo (Brasil) he succeeded with his first fertilization and first embryo obtained by transferring the egg nucleus of a patient into the egg cytoplasm of a donor enucleate egg. . She began investigating on assisted reproduction in 1979, when she obtained a grant awarded by the Spanish Education and Science Department to prepare a program about women infertility, managed by Mr Testart, doctor at Unité 535, in Clamart (France). . After that, she met Dr Tesarik and began to do a research on men infertility. . In 1994 she achieved, together with Dr Tesarik, the first baby in the world born by Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection, in human egg. . In 1996, at Istanbul (Turkey) two babies were born performing Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection, taken from testicular biopsy culture, performed to men suffering from azoospermia. .
